Facebook Live Classes – July and August 2020

If you can not join the class live or do not have Facebook you can view the classes on this website. The page is password protected and you will receive the password and link when you pay for a block. The recorded classes will be available for the whole month as they become live. So July classes will be posted after the live session ends and remain until the end of July.

Like my Facebook page anahata yoga to take part in the live classes. Find the class on this Facebook page or in your notifications and join when it becomes live.

There are two classes each week on a Tuesday and Thursday, paying for a block gives you access to all of the classes (live and recorded versions).

TUESDAY morning block £15 per person

7th, 14th, 21st, 28th July

9.00am-10.00am – each week

get your morning off to a good start with whole body stretches designed to clear your mind and give you energy for the day ahead

THURSDAY evening block £15 Per person

9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th July

7.30-8.30pm each week

restorative/yin yoga – some gentle poses to calm down your nervous system and a deep relaxation please wear comfortable warm clothes and have plenty of pillows, blankets and cushions to hand

August Block – tbc

4th, 11th, 18th, 25th August, Tuesdays, 9.00am-10.00am each week

6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August, Thursdays 7.30pm-8.30pm each week

Ideally find a quiet space in your home where you will not be disturbed, switch off any phones and roll out your mat. Have a blanket ready for final relaxation. You may use yoga props if you have them, bolster and strap. If not you can use cushions, pillows or a thick book or rolled up blanket, a belt or tie.
New students are welcome, please contact me to fill out an online form to check on any potential issues for you.

DISCLAIMER: Anahata Yoga allows you to work at your own level to improve your flexibility, strength and general health. It is not competitive, and postures can be adapted or modified with props to assist extension and increase mobility. To reduce the risk of injury, never force or strain yourself during poses. Menstruating women should not do inverted poses, strong backbends or reverse standing poses. Pregnant women should ask for specific advice.

If you are receiving treatment from a medical practitioner, have recently had surgery or a serious accident or illness, or are on medication, please consult with your doctor as to the suitability of this class for your condition. Any information given by Anahata Yoga should not be used as a replacement for medical advice.

Live Viewing tips
Some TVs have internet built into them and it is also possible to attach your phone/ipad or laptop to your TV or a speaker for better sound(TV/speaker) and viewing(TV) quality. Ask someone tech savvy or look up online as the procedure differs depending on what equipment you have.
